Google launched a beta version of Image Extensions in AdWords so that marketers can now add visual elements to their AdWords ads. According to Google, sometimes it’s better to let an image tell the story about a company or a product. With these image extensions, marketers can combine their ad texts with images.
So finally marketers are can add visual elements to their AdWords ads through Image Extensions, now available in beta version. However, users will have to let Google review the images they want to use. Pretty basic of course, but just in case you were wondering, you can’t just upload a copyrighted photo of that phone that is almost the same as the one you’re selling. Marketers must have the appropriate rights to be able to place the images.
For now, the beta version of the image extensions is only available in English ads. Below you can see how the ads with images would look:
